Partial rough ware pot with burnished interior, black interior and grey exterior with patches of black of walls, likely caused by exposure to heat or fire. Rounded everted rim, short neck into rounded body and rounded base. Incomplete, reconstructed from sherds and only about half of the vessel is present.

Context (Field collection)
The bowls, 1924.437 A & B, were found with another bowl. The ashes and the broken cooking pot (1924.437 C) were found scattered about the bowls. Cremation 222. Excavated by Samuel K. Lothrop, Museum of the American Indian, and Louis Clarke, Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, as part of the Louis C.G. Clarke Kechipauan Expedition, 19 June – 1 September 1923.
