Description
Matsaki polychrome shouldered bowl, object slipped in tan with black hooked and triangle decoration on exterior wall, black cross hatching and line work on interior; red zig-zagged patterns on interior. Black patches on exterior wall, likely caused by exposure to heat or fire. Rounded slightly everted rim, rounded upper shoulder, body tapers to rounded base. Some surface loss on interior walls meaning pigment is no longer visible. Surface cracking and chipping visible. Object reconstructed from sherds.
