Description

Two needle cases, decorated with images and scenes in varnished transfer, in the form of a book. (.1) One face of pink and white flowers with large green leaves on a wood effect background, the other red flowers, possibly trumpet vine, on same background. Dark blue fabric hinge with pink-purple satin interior lining. Several sheets of off-white cloth inside; ribbon ties missing. (.2) One face shows white buildings with a green roof on a rocky outcrop surrounded by a lake and hills, similar scene, possibly showing the same buildings from another angle. Bright pink satin lining with no cloth inside, part of one pink ribbon tie attached to one side.
