Description
Two square needle cases in the form of a book. (.1) Mauchline or tartan ware exterior with 'McLean' in gold lettering on one face; interior lined with dark pink satin with small pocket on each side; single, black, fibre tie. (.2) ‘Japanned’ varnish technique in brown, imitating tortoise shell on exterior sides; pink satin interior with small pocket on each side. Spine possibly leather with gold brocade pattern; pink fibre tie forming a loop.
