Description
Red ware sherd, possibly a vessel foot. Possibly from a nineteenth century reproduction. Broadly dome shaped with an ovoid cross-section; proximal end has a transverse break; tapers to a rounded base; rounded irregularities in the body suggests a mould made motif in relief. Partially burnished; smooth fabric feel, with a dark core; some white accretions throughout.
