Description
Fragment of anthropomorphic red ware figurine head, possibly handmade terracotta of helmeted male. Three-tiered helmet that tapers to the broken tip; projected rim over face; recessed at face with incised eyes and pupils and projected nose; sides of helmet has ring-shaped ornamentation with two hanging coils; lower half of face is covered with possible helmet visor; tapers to neck; transverse break through neck. Surface has a mottled red and grey hue; fabric is powdery.
