Pointed, red wax, oval, seal impression of a copper alloy seal matrix (1923.263.1). On the die is a portrait, possibly of the owner; the central design is separated from the inscription by a plain groove. The inscription around the central design reads 'S GALFRIDI DE THAM' ('THE SEAL OF GEOFFREY OF THAM').
