Artefacts bequeathed to the Museum by Veronica Seton-Williams, they have been in the museum for some years before being accessioned. 'Livres De Beurre' blade cores are named this since they resembled butter slabs in the 19th C.
All artefacts are marked in black ink "La Falandaire. gd. Pressigny 1961", therefore probably collected in 1961

All made from Le Grand Pressigny honey-coloured flint. One Livre de Beurre blade core is large; one has cortex on dorsal face.
