Sherds from the body of a large orange vessel. A total of twenty four sherds showing a thick wall, some retaining traces of a fine layer of orange slip on the exterior. Uneven surface on the interior.

Description for 1890.57 J-K: 'Found, two boxes of sherds. One box with numerous heavy red ware sherds, possibly from one vessel. The other box contains sherds with raised decoration of various sorts, one of them (possibly a lug or part of a rim?) with two elliptical circles applied, one inside the other to give the impression of an eye and two perforations threaded with string on the upper edge.'
