One float bar of worked bone with a knob at each end, partly broken off and missing, as well as convexly shaped sides with bevelled edges in between. Back completely flat. Towards thinner preserved end one transverse groove running along two sides. Brown and black surface coloration.

This collection was previously entered as from '?Southampton Island' and collected by Graham Rowley in 1936. However, they correspond to those excavated by Rowley in 1937 at the site of Avartoq [Akbahtok], Strathcona Sound, drawings of which are in his excavation notebook (XA/1/39/4). The Place field has been updated accordingly.
