Description (Physical description)
One piece of worked bone, roughly rectangular in shape, with one flat and one convex side. One end squared with rounded edges, the other slightly tapering with one large partial circular drilling. Cream coloured surface coloration.

Context (Amendments / updates)
This collection was previously entered as from '?Southampton Island' and collected by Graham Rowley in 1936. However, they correspond to those excavated by Rowley in 1937 at the site of Avartoq [Akbahtok], Strathcona Sound, drawings of which are in his excavation notebook (XA/1/39/4). The Place field has been updated accordingly.
