Context (Amendments / updates)
Z 46162 - Z 46165 were previously entered as from Graham Rowley's re-excavation of Naujan in 1938 and donated by Thomas Manning. However, they correspond to those excavated by Rowley in 1937 at the site of Avartoq [Akbahtok], Strathcona Sound, drawings of which are in his excavation notebook (XA/1/39/4). The Place and Source fields have been updated accordingly.

Bone harpoon head, comprising rounded tip with blade slot and perforation for lashing, single line hole, sunken lashing holes, open socket and single spur.
