Context (Amendments / updates)
Z 46162 - Z 46165 were previously entered as from Graham Rowley's re-excavation of Naujan in 1938 and donated by Thomas Manning. However, they correspond to those excavated by Rowley in 1937 at the site of Avartoq [Akbahtok], Strathcona Sound, drawings of which are in his excavation notebook (XA/1/39/4). The Place and Source fields have been updated accordingly.

Description (Physical description)
Bone adze head, with slot for end blade, expanding in thickness towards tang, upper face bevelled, horizontal drill holes on head near tang for lashing, shoulders bevelled towards tang, rectangular tang with two drill holes through width for lashing to haft.
