Context (Field collection)

Context (Amendments / updates)
This object is very similar to Z 19069, both in age, appearance and origin. Z 19069 has been identified as having been given by Lady Brown Mitchell Hedges, and due to the similarities in this collection, this object has been attributed to her.

Context (Amendments / updates)
The cultural group field has been updated to include Guna after consultation with Jimena Lobo Guerrero Arenas. A question mark has been added in front of the existing cultural group, which is listed as Chucimuque. This information came from the catalogue card, which says ‘Chucimuque Indians’. Upon further investigation on the internet, the closest existing term to Chucimuque that relates to Panama is the Chucunaque River. It is unclear whether the previous cultural group is a historic name for a cultural group or whether this was referring to a region rather than a cultural group.
