Context (Amendments / updates)
Whilst the label suggests this came from the predynastic cemetery 3700, it is not listed in the distribution list. It is possible that this bead came to MAA via the Beck Collection as Beck noted he studied beads from cemetery 3700 in his chapter in Qau and Bardi II, p.23. As there is no Beck label/number it is hard to prove this. Therefore he is only tentatively added to the source field alongside the known excavator of the site, Guy Brunton.
