Context (Acquisition Details)
The Moyne collection arrived at MAA in 1938, after being displayed in London from 19 May to 1 June. Richard Feachem organised and partially accessioned the collection in 1946; the remainder was registered in 1981 and 1995. See archive (FA2/3/6, Doc.68, Doc.467 and Doc.470).

Description (Physical description)
Miniature vase of reddish buff ware. Open mouth with everted rim; a band of incised lines and punctations on shoulder, with two applied solid zoomorphic lugs or adornos; cylindrical body on rounded base. Traces of black paint or slip on rim and one adorno; chips to rim; base possibly once annular however ring broken off and missing.
