Description
Vertical, elongated, zoomorphic adorno sherd representing the full body of a chameleon. Head with raised edges and appliquéd knobs on top on either side, a pointed protruding nose, four appliquéd punctate 'eyes', and a wide, open mouth with tongue rolled back. Body with two vertical punctated fillets on the front and two deep punctates connected by a vertical groove near vessel wall on either side. Rounded, protruding bottom section with single punctate on the lower face. Hollow. Retains part of the vessel wall. Pink buff fabric.
