Description (Physical description)
Man's sash with goat hair fringe, worn diagonally across the chest. Rectangular band of woven blue cotton with longitudinal black and red stripes; floating weft pattern of diamonds in red wool with three vertical yellow stripes; fringe of long red goat hair with three stripes of white; bundles of hair wrapped with yellow orchid stem at top, with a shorted fringe above; fringe at both ends of woven band twisted into four groups for tying.

Z 41311 A-H were accessioned at the same time. Many of them have historic labels indicating that they were donated by Hutton, and it is likely that they were all assumed to be from the same source. For those without labels clearly indicating provenance, the Source field has been updated to include this uncertainty.
