Man's sash with goat hair fringe, worn diagonally across the chest. Rectangular band of woven blue cotton with floating weft pattern of diamonds in red wool with vertical stripes in yellow; fringe of long red goat hair with three stripes of white; bundles of hair wrapped with yellow orchid stem at top; knotted cord at one end of band and an additional length of blue cloth knotted at other end.

Z 41311 A-H were accessioned at the same time. Many of them have historic labels indicating that they were donated by Hutton, and it is likely that they were all assumed to be from the same source.
