Description
Vertical, elongated, zoomorphic adorno sherd representing the full body of an animal, possibly a fish. Protruding head with faintly incised lines on the bottom; six punctations down the middle of the body with slightly raised borders; two vertical rows of small punctations on either side of the body with incised line between them; curved up at the base with small punctated hole through the bottom; punctations across the end of the base, possibly representing a tail; hollow on the back.

Original description for Z 35297 A-AM: 'Lugs of various forms, whole-body of human/lizard type with pronounced hole at bottom in most cases. a-g have pointed faces, two applied eye-holes each side. h-o have one or two eye holes either side, filleted decoration at sides of body. p-af are simpler versions of type. ag-ai are versions with more holes and protruberances. aj possibly represents different animal: has vertical mouth. ak is very stylized, small, with form represented only by punctate dots. al and am are small, very simply modelled versions'.
