Description

Red slipped base fragment of a bowl or dish with everted, carinated body walls. Exterior surface with horizontal band of incised or stabbed marks below moulded carination. Interior surface with horizontal grooved line below carination. Buff fabric; polished dark red slip on the interior; red slip on the exterior above carination. Tempered with calcite. Previously reconstructed from four sherds; now in two pieces.
