Context (Analysis)
Piece of paper stored with sherds reads 'Early Formative (Swasey Phase) pre 1000 BC. Pottery linings to hearth.' and added in pencil '?1980.1111.' These sherds are very similar to those of 1980.1111 and have a far larger area of blackening on the sherds, suggesting that they may also be from a fire-pit rather than a vessel. [This note was found with 1980.1112 A.]
