Description
Relatively flat, red slipped rim fragment of a large dish. Rounded rim; straight, everted body walls with horizontal groove on the exterior. Buff ware with polished dark red slip on the interior. Tempered with calcite. Previously reconstructed from four sherds; now in two pieces.

Description for 1937.386 A-H: 'Eight sherds. All are of simple silhouette originally standing on ring bases. All are modified by lateral moldings or grooves or countersunk moldings. Tempered with calcite. Typical of Period III.'
