Description
Red slipped rim fragment of a bowl or dish. Rounded, slightly internally bevelled rim; everted body walls with horizontal moulded ridge on the exterior and carination and horizontal grooved or incised line below on the interior. Buff ware with polished dark red slip on the interior. Tempered with calcite. Reconstructed from two sherds.

Description for 1937.386 A-H: 'Eight sherds. All are of simple silhouette originally standing on ring bases. All are modified by lateral moldings or grooves or countersunk moldings. Tempered with calcite. Typical of Period III.'
