Description

Fragment of a large polychrome basal-flanged bowl. Internally bevelled rim; everted body walls with flange on the exterior and single horizontal grooved line on the interior at about the position, probably halfway down the body. Red ware. Black painted horizontal lines on rim on red-slipped interior; horizontal bands of red lines and black dots on the exterior between rim and flange. Tempered with calcite. Reconstructed from four sherds; ring base missing.
