Description
Shell adze made from the lip of a queen conch (Strombus gigas). Truncated lens cross section with a curved cutting edge. One ground face with curved surfaces following the natural shape of the shell. A small amount of pitting is visible on one side.

The original record stated the objects were made from tridacna shell however on closer inspection the speciesis far more likely to be Queen conch 'Strombus Gigas'
