Description
Two interlocking rings of copper alloy. One larger ring with oval aperture; the frame has oval cross-section; it is open at one end, the ends are flattened off but touching. The other ring is smaller and looped around the larger ring; with oval aperture and circular bezel; the hoop is open, ending at the bezel, the other end is flattened off next to the bezel.

A letter (dated 27/11/1903) from John Baddeley to William Ridgeway says: 'I am now sending a small box containing some beads, iron axeheads and a glass bracelet from Saniba, an Ossetine village a few miles south of Koban. Various dates have been assigned for the grave-find, some BC, some AD. Anyway it is much later than the old Koban.'
