Description
Knife with matching sheath. The knife is tanged, with a handle at cross-section to the blade. The handle is triangular in shape with curved butt and pointed ends on either side; the metal continues down the centre of the horn handle, decorated with engraved circles and half moons and bordered by notches; three rivets are visible on either side of the horn. The bolster and start of the handle is round; silver going up the blade and terminating in a triangle shape on either side of the blade, decorated with engraved lines. The blade has a curved lower cutting edge; the spine is thickened; one third before the tip it thins with notched, serrated edge. One side of the blade has decoration of rectangular shape, circles and flowers below the spine. The sheath is formed of wood covered with green shagreen hide, sewn together, and following the curved shape of the blade.
