Description

Base of a shallow, handmade pedestal cup of coarse, gritty, red to dark grey fabric. Splayed, flat base, with an oval hole and a hollow centre. Flared body with a raised, rectangular panel on one side, decorated with incised chevrons filled with oblique lines. Panel is bordered either side with a raised, grooved band and incised zigzag lines. Remainder of body is smoothed, with shallow vertical marks.
