Context (Amendments / updates)
The bead was found in a box of beads taken off display in an unknown bead exhibition sometime before 2006. A note in this box read: 'Beads- no number. In box with beads from Egypt, Dordogne, Mount Carmel' Of these three, Egypt is my best guess but this object could well be from somewhere else completely.
