1886.8.3 [A-N] are part of a larger donation that came in to the museum in 1886, donated by Hans Gadow. Almost all of the objects were re-accessioned later with individual Z numbers. There are 13 axes that have been accessioned as Z numbers, which are likely to have originally been part of 1886.8.3: Z 24123.1, Z 24123.5, Z 24124.1-2, Z 24125.1, Z 24126, Z 24127 C.1-7. 'Update: These have now been reassigned an 1886.8.3 IDNO with suffixes ranging from A to M. The 14th axe [1886.8.3 N] hasn't been identified. Sophie Wardle 28/03/2024'
