Stylised floral motif in yellow, green, white and blue; central panel of green with narrow borders along the long edges; borders along the short edges have repeating motifs on a blue background; crackle effect throughout; edges of cloth left raw.

Catalogue card for 1978.150 A-C: 'Three pieces of batik work. They were done to a design made by a Mrs Ghosh of Jodhpur Park, Calcutta, who has a small workshop and works with traditional designs from all over India. One [C] depicts a scene with two chariots, taken from a traditional design. The other two show floral designs, freely drawn, but clearly influenced by the mixed tradition of floral drawing.'
