Description for 1978.136 A-E: Set of five women's shirts made by Paville Fashions Pvt Limited for export to the USA. Four from handloom cloth produced in Tamilnad and Kerala, and one from mill cloth made in India from Egyptian cotton. All of the shirts are in relatively classic style, and are intended to compete in the US market with domestically produced shirts.

Small woman's or child's short sleeved button down shirt, made of handloom cotton, white with stripes of white yellow and blue, top half with horizontal stripes, sleeves and bottom half with vertical stripes. Tab collar. Buttons small round and pearlescent white, probably plastic.
