Copper alloy handle from a bowl or situla. Handle flattened at the sides with convex upper and lower edges; upper edge decorated with four parallel dotted ridges; ends, circular in section, are turned upwards with terminals in the shape of closed trefoil flower buds. Cf. also 1948.1745 A.

Description for 1948.1745 A-B: 'Two bronze handles from a large bronze bowl of bucket. Ends turned up and moulded into a bud-like terminals. Upper edge of handles ornamented with four ribs which are moulded to give a "dot" effect.'
