Description (Physical description)
Description for 1951.759 A-C: 'Three iron knives, all tanged. A: With broad, single-edged blade with convex back. B: Small single-edged knife with slightly convex back curving to the point which is damaged C: Tanged blade in poor condition. There is a low midrib and it appears to have been a two-edged knife. This may have been a spearhead and not a knife'.

Accession Register for 1951.757-762 notes 'Returned to La Rochelle, July 1952' and the entries struck through. This note was then later struck through and an updated note reads: 'Received back again and re-entered, August 1952... See letter from Dr Loppé.' The catalogue card records the same information, but with the additional information that this was 'received back from Dr. Loppé.'
