Description (Physical description)
'Thorens Matchlite' striker lighter, metal container lenticular in section, flat sides decorated with fish scale pattern. From one end of the case unscrews a rod of metal, one end with flat circular handle, the other with four prongs surrounding a cylindrical metal rod. On the base is a rectangular slot for striking the rod to produce a flame, also engraved with the words 'Thorens Matchlite patent pending'.
