Description
Mechanical lighter with rasp mechanism, of silver metal. Rectangular case with hinged lid opened by a press button. Inside case is a ridged wheel and spiked cog which move when lid is opened and shut, and a cylindrical tube with cotton wick, a corresponding cylindrical tube is attached to the roof of the lid acting as a stopper. On the exterior of the case is a ring pull possibly for controlling the height of the wick when turned. Operated by the ridged wheel connecting with another part inside the case causing sparks when button opener is pressed. Engraved on base 'Pat ang. Lumin LN Austria'.
