Description
Iron rowel spur with straight sides, bifid terminals and curved rowel box, the rowel is missing. Sides have a circular cross-section, narrowing towards the ends; sides have been bent and appear asymmetrical; however, their unbent length is the same.

On the reverse of the card is the original label: "These nine Exhibits together with the accompanying portion of Habergeon were discovered by the late City Engineer and Surveyor of Peterboro' Mr Gill during his extension of the drainage of the city.
