Context (Found together / assemblage)
Found in the Keyser Office in 2014 with a note from Mary Hill Harris. About TEMP.02621.1-2 she wrote: 'There is a card in Bushnell's writing with no original number, but renumbered by us Z 40553-559, referring to various spindles, etc., 'unprovenanced except where indicated on label, from Wellcome Museum, Feb. 1951... plus a few other'. Maybe the pottery disc and the wooden item were included in this category? I don't remember seeing the pottery disc with a pit... I do remember seeing the stamped wooden cylinder before, but I have no idea what it is and I think I probably never did. If it was with the other items it is likely to be from Peru'. These objects have now been assigned TEMP numbers, and Peru has tentatively been added to the Place field.
