Description
Copper alloy crotal bell. It is made up of two hemispheres divided by a horizontal seam. The top half has a square loop, the surface is undecorated and it has two sound holes. The bottom half has 'sunburst' decoration with the letters 'W.G.' and the founders hammer symbol either side of the slot and lower sound holes. The pea is still present and there is a length of leather strap through the suspension loop. There are two copper alloy chain links of a later date also attached to the loop.
