Description

Three sherds from large vessels. One is part of rim and handle from a wheel-thrown jug with traces of dark glaze; upright, flat, thickened rim; vertical rod handle joining below the rim, with a thumbed impression at each side; rounded or cylindrical body; a small circular hole on neck. One is part of rim and handle from jug, with traces of dark grey glaze; upright, flat, thickened rim; vertical strap handle below rim with stabbed decoration at front. One is a base sherd with everted wall and thumb marks around sagging base; black core, orange fabric.
