Description

Double-faced head fragment from a handmade figurine. Faces feature incised angled brows; wide eyes with deep vertically dragged punctations as pupils; straight noses; straight mouths; and wide squared chins. The faces share an eyebrow and eye. Remnants of headdress or hair on top of head, decorated with multiple short incisions. Section of applied strip decorated with multiple rounded impressions runs down one side of neck from ear; perhaps indicating hair or tassel. Red fabric with burnished surfaces. Type D.
