Description

One solid hand made human figurine depicting a pregnant woman made from buff clay with grey core and red paint, possibly containing cinnabar pigments. Head with turban and central notch; incised eyes and mouth, necklace, and circular earloops. Upper part of body with two bent arms with bracelets and hands resting on the pregnant belly with incised fingers; in grooves for fingers traces of red paint, possibly containing cinnabar pigments. Lower part below navel broken off and missing. Back smudged and concave.
