Description for 1955.25 A-P: 'Elongated cylindrical or slightly pear-shaped stone pendants, top usually pointed and in most cases pierced for suspension, from one end only... Could have been used as pestles, but the signs of grinding probably produced during manufacture in most cases.'

A cylindrical piece of ground and polished dark grey stone. It is flat at one end and tapered to a point towards the other end; it is pierced at the pointed end. Possibly a weight, loom weight, pestle, or pendant.
