Catalogue card for 1955.10 A-L: 'Ground stone celts, symmetrical, of flattened ovoid or sub-parallelogram form, and rounded butt, generally retaining a good deal of the original crust. Mostly from jadeite pebbles.'

Description (Physical description)
Ground and partially polished biconvex stone axe. Squared sides flaring towards a slightly curved cutting edge; rounded butt; both faces polished near the cutting edge, along the sides and around the butt, with cortex remaining on faces near the butt; translucent grey stone with brown and black veining and flecks. Small chips missing from cutting edge.
