Description for 1955.20 A-G: 'Miniature jade adzes with tang formed by part of the original surface (?pecked) of the pebble, sometimes partly ground. Some look like drawn teeth.'

Description (Physical description)
A ground and partially polished shouldered stone adze, with a narrow butt end with cortex remaining, and a flared cutting edge. It has curved sides and plano-convex cross-section. The polished section is mottled grey; the cortex is cream coloured.
