Catalogue card for 1955.8 A-E: 'Flat polished celts, of parallelogram form (blade sometimes convex), the blade markedly wider than the butt. Made from weathered jade or black lava pebbles. Length between 5.5 and 9.5 cm.'

Ground and partially polished stone axe or wedge, possibly mudstone. Curved sides with oval cross-section flaring towards a straight cutting edge; square butt; green-grey stone with areas of buff to brown colouration or weathering; natural fissure lines in stone. Chips missing from cutting edge.
