Note attached to the back of the catalogue card reads: 'Gua Ba' aik Rock Shelter, Nr Sungei Siput, Perak State Malaya. The shells, pounderstone of quartz, The flaked piece of schist (knife) and two pieces of cord-marked pottery, were found in this shelter in association with some 7 or 8 adult skeletons, said to be of Melanesoid Strain. Date, according to Professor Van Stein Callenfels, about 2,500 B.C. Discovery made July 1936. R. O. D. N.'
