Description
Stone adze or chisel, made of polished schist. Broad, rectangular shape, with a curved cutting edge and a slightly curved butt. Cutting edge has a broad bevel on one side and a slightly narrower bevel on the other side. Cross section is pointed oval shaped.

Context (Found together / assemblage)
Sieveking notes that in Burial 25, 'one small broad quadrangular polished stone chisel with bevelled edges' was found below the waist, and a 'small quadrangular polished stone chisel' was found below the the left shoulder. The chisel found by the waist is 1956.244 E, and the chisel found below the left shoulder is either 1956.244 F or 1956.244 K.
