Description
Top half of a terracotta female figurine, possibly a votive. One arm is broken off at the shoulder, and the other is broken at the elbow, held out to the side. The figurine has appliquéd hair, slit eyes, and breasts, and a pinched nose. The back of the figurine is flat. There are remnants of painted black detail on the back.

Description for 1959.394 A-H: 'Terracotta figurines: A: Duck, pierced through beak for draw string and through body for wheel axles, wheels missing B: Cow, head only, with garland or ?bridle C, D: Two monkey heads E: Stylised human figure, upper part only with stump arms F, G: Two human heads with elaborate diadem headdresses H: Seal, sawn off cone in shape, pierced for suspension. On base a star pattern, on top a linear design: see card for sketch'.
